Ok, here's the deal. I have been living here in Playas de Tijuana (Tijuana beaches)
for over 3 years. I have a nice 2 br. apartment with inside parking garage, washer
and dryer, excellent security and about 2 blocks from the beach. I have, in place,
high speed internet, cable TV, and a Skype phone (which goes through my
computer and works as if it was a land line in the 619 area in San Diego). The
place is completely furnished with TV, stove,fridge,microwave, cooking stuff and
dishes.
The rent, electricity, gas, water, cable TV, and Internet together come to about
$600 per month, so your cost would be $300 per month. I am looking for a
roommate. I would prefer another retiree, but will consider others. I would like
first and last month to move in ($600).
This is a very nice area. There is a park 1/2 block to the north, a convenience
store across the street, a supermarket 2 blocks to the east, and a shopping center
very close. It is 2 blocks to the well kept public beach.
If you move in, you will have the place to yourself a couple of days a week as I
usually ride my motorcycle to my girlfriend's place in Ramona. I am fairly active
and I read a lot and play and collect flamenco and classical guitar music and
teach guitar occasionally. I am also on the internet quite a bit. I have a home
network here, so it is no problem to hook up another computer. I speak pretty
good Spanish and I can help with adjusting to living in Mexico.
I am looking for a responsible, dependable person to share what I believe is a
great living situation for someone with a limited income. Tell me a little about
yourself and let's see what we can work out. Please be aware that I will not rent to
anyone I have not met face to face, so if you are not in the San Diego area, write
me when you get here. I assume you will want to see the place, so I have
prepared picture maps that will tell you exactly how to get here.
